Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us.  When you provide information to us via our website, we protect it according to this Notice, which lets you know how Advanced RPO (“Advanced RPO” or “we” or “us”) collects and uses your personal information, including your name, address, phone number, email address, or any other information that may be used to identify you, both online and offline. 


Collecting Personal Information.

Advanced RPO operates primarily as a provider of business-to-business services.  Unlike many companies and websites, we do not focus on consumer users or the collection of consumer data.  To the extent we collect information online, our purpose is to better serve our clients. 

You can visit most pages of Advanced RPO’s websites without giving us information about yourself; however, in some instances it may be necessary for you to share information with Advanced RPO to apply for jobs, request services, offer to provide services, or to allow us to provide information to you at your request.  In the case where we do collect information from you, this Notice will explain how we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information. 

The information we collect when you browse our website includes (i) what you provide directly, such as your name or ordering information or any chat room postings or email messages you send to us, (ii) the webpages your browser visits; and (iii) aggregate data, such as the number of hits per week per webpage.  For more details about how your personal information may be collected by our website, please visit our Cookie Policy.


Types of Personal Information Collected, Purposes of Collection, and Use

  • Applicants/Candidates.  We ask for certain data from job applicants, including educational and employment background, contact information and preferences, information regarding debarment under subsections 306(A) or 306(B) of the Generic Drug Enforcement Act of 1992, and job qualifications.  If you are a candidate interested in applying for a job with Advanced RPO, you can review our Recruitment Privacy Policy, [NEED LINK], which provides details about how your personal information will be used as a candidate and as an employee of Advanced RPO
  • Customer and Vendor.  You may need to share your personal information with Advanced RPO to ask questions about or purchase our services, or to sell your (or your employer’s) services to Advanced RPO.  In these instances, we will use your personal information as necessary to provide the requested information, products, and/or services. 
  • Study Participants.  Advanced RPO manages RPO research trials as a CRO.  In this capacity, Advanced RPO obtains pseudonymized medical and health information about trial participants that is collected by study sponsors and investigators at study sites.  Advanced RPO may transmit this data out of the jurisdiction where it was collected.  Advanced RPO will only process your information or share your information with third parties to the extent directed, required or permitted to do so by the RPO trial sponsor. 

Cross Border Transfers.

Personal data may be transferred to a country outside of the EEA.  Transfers to countries not deemed adequate by the EU are made according to the principles of appropriate safeguards as outlined in Article 46 of the GDPR.


Disclosure of Information to Third Parties

Personal data may be shared with third parties, including Advanced RPO’s affiliates, to fulfill the purposes for which the data was originally collected. Personal data is transferred to third parties pursuant to contractual obligations consistent with Article 28(4) of GDPR when applicable, and with this Privacy Notice.  Advanced RPO may also disclose personal information to law enforcement, regulatory or other government agencies, or to other third parties as necessary to comply with legal, regulatory, or national security obligations or requests.  By providing personal information to Advanced RPO, you are consenting to the disclosures described above.


Children’s Privacy

Advanced RPO does not collect or maintain information from individuals known to be under 13 years of age.  If we obtain actual knowledge that we have received such information, we will take steps to delete it.


Data Retention

We retain personal information as necessary for the duration of the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice, and may retain your information, if necessary, to comply with our legal or professional obligations, to enforce our agreements or to resolve disputes.


Security and Confidentiality.

Advanced RPO maintains reasonable administrative, physical, and technical controls designed to protect the confidentiality and security of your personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.


Email Lists

Advanced RPO maintains email lists to keep interested parties informed about our company, events, products, support, and more.  We do not sell the addresses on our list, but we may make information available to specific business partners, sponsors or service providers.  Users may voluntary request to join our mailing lists by singing up or opt-in in through a form on our website. 


To Unsubscribe from Our Communications

You may unsubscribe from our marketing communications by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located at the bottom of our emails, updating your communication preferences, or by sending us an email at privacy@advancedgroup.com.  Unsubscribing from marketing communications will not prevent you from receiving transaction emails related to your account.


Your Rights to Access, Correct and Delete Your Personal Information.

Any person who wishes to exercise their rights under applicable data privacy law or who wishes to inquire about the processing of their data, should contact Advanced RPO in the manner provided in Contacts section below. 
Depending on the jurisdiction in which you are located, you may also have the right to request that we modify, delete or stop processing your personal information:

  • Right to access and obtain a copy of your personal information: You are entitled to request confirmation whether Advanced RPO processes any of your personal information. Where this is the case, you may have access to your personal information and to certain information about how it is processed. In some cases, you can ask us to provide you with an electronic copy of your information. In some limited circumstances, you also have the right to request portability of your personal information.
  • Right to correct your personal information: If you can demonstrate that the personal information we hold about you is not correct, you can ask that this information is updated or otherwise corrected.
  • Right to be forgotten/have data deleted: In certain circumstances you have the right to have your personal data deleted. You may make such a request at any time and Advanced RPO will evaluate if your request should be granted, subject to any legal rights or obligations we may have to retain data.  Where your request is granted, we will delete your information without delay.
  • Right to restrict or object to the processing of your data: In certain circumstances you have the right to obtain restriction of the processing of your personal information, or to object on certain processing thereof on grounds relating to your particular situation.

RPO trial participants should contact the study site at which they participated in the RPO trial, or the sponsor or principal investigator of the study, to inquire about choices and means available for limiting the use and disclosure of their personal data under applicable data privacy laws.

Changes to Privacy Notice.

Advanced RPO may update this Privacy Notice from time to time and will amend the revision date at the bottom of this page and such modified or amended Privacy Notice shall be effective as to you and your information as of that revision date.  By using our website, you indicate your understanding and acceptance of the terms of the Privacy Notice posted at the time of your use.


California Consumer Privacy Act Notice

1. About this Privacy Notice

Advanced RPO has issued this California Consumer Privacy Notice (“CCPA Notice”) pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”). This CCPA Notice, effective January 1, 2020, applies to California consumers only, and supplements the terms of Advanced RPO’s privacy policy.

Advanced RPO is primarily a provider of business-to-consumer services and does not focus on consumer users or the collection of consumer data. Any consumer data collected online is used to better serve our business clients. The personal information indicated above is collected from you based on the information that you provide to us. When you browse www.advancedrpo.com or any other Advanced RPO website, we collect information that you provide directly, webpages that your Internet browser visits, and aggregated data, such as the number of hits per week, per webpage.

For prospective employees of Advanced RPO, you may provide personal information to Advanced RPO. We ask for certain data, including educational and employment background, contact information and preferences, information regarding debarment under subsections 306(A) or 306(B) of the Generic Drug Enforcement Act of 1992, job qualifications, and jobs for which you would like to apply. You also may choose to provide Advanced RPO with additional information, such as your CV, resume, or transcripts, employment references and related information, and compensation requests. In addition, Advanced RPO may collect information from third parties, for example, in connection with initial and ongoing background, employment, social media checks and/or an employment reference.

Advanced RPO does not request or require sensitive personal information concerning religion, health, sexual orientation, or political affiliation in connection with recruiting. If you have a disability and would like Advanced RPO to consider any accommodation, you may provide that information during the recruiting process. We also may ask for information such as race or ethnicity for the purpose of monitoring equal opportunity; however, we do not require you to provide race or ethnicity information, and if you provide this information it will not be viewable in the hiring or selection process.

To the extent information you provide contains details of your racial or ethnic origin, political opinions or beliefs, religious beliefs, membership in a trade union or political party, physical or mental health or condition, sexual orientation, commission or alleged commission of a criminal offense or related proceedings, job evaluations or educational records, you expressly authorize Advanced RPO to handle such details as specified in this Policy and in accordance with, and as required by, applicable law.

3. Purpose of Collection

Advanced RPO uses personal information only for the purpose for which it is provided to us, including:

  • Recruitment, staffing and employment purposes
  • Assessing qualifications and personal experience to determine if your background meets job requirements
  • Helping us to inform you of future job opportunities
  • Compliance with corporate governance and other legal and regulatory requirements
  • Processing of health care benefits
  • Providing voluntary programs and benefits for employee participation
  • Improvement of website functionality/experience, including customization
  • Conduct research, analytics, and data analysis
  • Records maintenance
  • Exercise and defend legal claims and fulfill legal obligations
  • General marketing of product and services

Advanced RPO and its service providers may use your personal information in an anonymized format (in a form in which your identity cannot be determined) for other purposes not specified above, including in the development and testing of products and services.

4. Personal Information Disclosed or Shared

We disclose the below listed categories of personal information to our affiliates; our customers; our vendors, service providers, suppliers, agents and representatives; other entities offering products and services in connection with our business operations; licensors of third-party applications; and other parties where required by law or to protect our rights for our operational business purposes. Advanced RPO requires that its service providers and such other third parties keep your personal information confidential and that they only use the personal information in furtherance of the specific purpose for which it was disclosed.

The Advanced RPO does not sell personal information to third parties within the scope of the application of the CCPA.

5. Consumer Rights

You have the right to request that we disclose to you (i) the categories of personal information we collected about you and the categories of sources from which we collected such information; (ii) the specific pieces of personal information we collected about you; (iii) the business or commercial purpose for collecting personal information about you; and (iv) the categories of personal information about you that we shared or disclosed and the categories of third parties with whom we shared or to whom we disclosed such information in the preceding twelve (12) months. You may only make a verifiable consumer request for access or data portability twice within the twelve (12) month period. You also have the right to request that we delete personal information we collected from you subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive a deletion request from you, we will delete (and direct our service providers to delete) your personal information from our records unless an exception applies.

You also have the right to not be discriminated against in pricing and services because you exercise any of your rights under the CCPA.

6. How to Make a Request

You may make a request for the disclosures or deletion described above through this link.

You may be required to submit proof of your identity for these requests to be processed as a verifiable consumer request. We may not be able to comply with your request if we are unable to confirm your identity or to connect the information you submit in your request with personal information in our possession. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf subject to proof of identity and authorization.

We will respond to your request consistent with the CCPA, which does not apply to certain information, such as information made available from government records, certain data subject to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and certain other laws, and where its application is preempted by, or in conflict with, federal law or the United States or California Constitution.

We will update this CCPA Notice from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
